Rachel Freeny is a city girl living in a small town. She is an ordained Baptist minister currently serving as Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Spiritual Formation at a church in Georgia. She received her Master of Divinity from McAfee School of Theology and her B.A. in Journalism/Mass Communication from Samford University. She is passionate about helping people connect their faith with their daily lives and sustainable community development. She enjoys helping people discover how they can use their God-given gifts and passions to change the world.
When she’s not working, you can usually find her with her nose in a book. She also loves spending time outdoors, enjoying the beauty of North Georgia’s parks and mountains. She writes about faith and culture, experiencing God in the ordinary, and everything in-between.
